Introduction to International Greenschool Exchange Program

    The International Greenschool Partnership Program aims to help green schools in Taiwan establish ties with their counterparts in other countries and initiate cultural, social and environmental exchanges.

    To facilitate the exchange program we have created a platform on our website (www.greenschool.org.tw) for participating schools to post information about their schools, communities, environmental activities and other interesting features they wish to share. Real-time posting enables both students and teachers to feedback and participate throughout their development. It is hoped that through such two-way communications, young kids will have a chance to broaden their vision and form an environmental issues network among themselves.

    Three outstanding green schools in Taiwan: Shen Keng Elementary School in Taipei County, Yu Cai Elementary School in Yilan County and Peng Tsuo Elementary School in Pingtung County are invited to join the program to partner with Hawley Environmental School and Lakeshore Elementary School in Wisconsin, USA and Baptist Rainbow Primary School in Hong Kong. With their enthusiasm and experience we are positive that they will be role models for more green schools in leading the way to future cooperation.
